Why the device's Date/Time was not correct after the power failure?

Solution

In order to meet the US/EU RoHS compliance equipment, the ACTAtek3 device's battery type which holds the date and time data is a capacitive type battery.

If the device was switched on for a few days, and fully charged, the device can hold date and time data for about a week.

If not fully charged, due to the power failures ,it will not be able to hold the up-to-date's date and time in this case.

Solution:

The customer can Login to device's [Terminal Clock] page to enable SNTP time server setting .Once done, the device will automatically sync. with SNTP time server after it was rebooted when there was a power failure before.
